Transfers outside the European Economic Area. The United Kingdom benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Transfers to the United States are made to providers certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards in place. If you ask us to send your CV to a dive centre outside the European Economic Area, we do so only with your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR).
If the business is transferred or restructured, the data may be transferred to the new controller, who will process it for the same purposes.
4. Cookies
For details on the cookies and similar technologies used by the website, see our Cookie Policy.
5. Minors
PADI professional courses are reserved for people aged 18 or over. Some PADI specialties are open from age 15: for anyone under 18 we ask a parent or guardian to consent and sign the enrolment forms and the medical questionnaire. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14; if we find out we have received it, we delete it.
6. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access: access limited to the people who need it, protected accounts and an encrypted connection (HTTPS) on the website. We require equivalent guarantees from providers who process data on our behalf.
7. Third-party websites and services
The website contains links to external services such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply, and we recommend reading them. The Google and TripAdvisor reviews and awards shown on the website are text and images published by us: viewing them sends no data to Google or TripAdvisor.

You can exercise the following rights at any time, free of charge:

- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask for your data to be deleted when it is no longer needed or if you withdraw consent.

- Portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured format and transfer it to another controller.
- Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw any consent you gave (for example for photos and videos), without affecting processing already carried out.
Write to idctenerifecanary@gmail.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within one month of the request.
9. Complaints to the supervisory authority
If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es. You can also contact the authority of the EU country where you live or work.
